SOS: Performing Arts, taught by Ariel Goldberger, offered students a rigorous environment to develop student-originated performance works at an advanced level. Students generated the work from conception to performance, exploring images and ideas that emerged out of their individual artistic processes. The work was placed in a contemporary professional frame of reference, with a mind open to avant-garde performance and imaginative processes. Students cultivated depth, detail, and nuance. They also worked on aspects of showmanship, and developing a personal stylistic flair.
